Hardware Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic hardware design, with a focus on schematic design and capture, PCB layout, and the design of ADC interfaces, transmission lines, antennas, and high-speed design considerations. This role requires a deep understanding of EMC/EMI principles and the ability to apply them in practical design scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic hardware systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Create detailed schematic designs and capture them using tools like Altium Designer or Eagle.
• Develop PCB layouts, considering optimal placement and routing for signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Design ADC interfaces, transmission lines, and antenna systems for various applications.
• Work on high-speed electronic design, understanding and applying principles to minimize signal integrity issues.
• Ensure designs meet EMC/EMI requirements and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with embedded software and mechanical components.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall design quality.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in electronic hardware design.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in electronic hardware design, including schematic design and capture, PCB layout, and high-speed design.
• Proficiency in using design software like Altium Designer or Eagle.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital system design.
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI design principles and their application in hardware design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
