Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Mechanical CAD Engineer with a solid foundation in mechanical or mechatronics engineering. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core engineering principles, such as mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, and fluid dynamics. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software e.g.,fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks, Finite Element Aanalysis (FEA), and familiarity with current engineering technologies and methodologies is essential. This role involves working on various projects, from conceptual design to manufacturing, using the latest tools and technologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems using CAD software.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for design validation.
- Apply knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics in design and analysis.
- Utilize materials science and metallurgy principles in selecting appropriate materials.
- Engage in control systems and automation for optimizing mechanical designs.
- Understand and apply manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and 3D printing, in design considerations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of products with a focus on robotics and mechatronics.
- Ensure adherence to technical drawing and drafting standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in CAD, CAE, and related engineering technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong understanding of core engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
- Proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of CAM.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is preferred.
- Familiarity with thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics.
- Knowledge of materials science, control systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Interest in and understanding of 3D printing, CNC machining, robotics, and mechatronics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
